1 Mukhi Savar is an unusual type of 1 Mukhi Rudraksha. It is a twin bead of which 1 bead is a one mukhi Rudraksha naturally attached to the other bead which could be any of any mukhi. The importance is of the bead is one mukhi that seems to be riding on the other bead hence it is called as Savar Rudraksha as in hindi riding means savari. 1 Mukhi Rudraksha is the most sought after Rudraksha & is considered to be the rarest.

The term Rudraksha (Rudra i.e. Shiva + aksha i.e. eye) stands for the eyes of Lord Shiva implying thereby that it was pleasant to the eyes of Lord Shiva, and hence named in His Honour.

How to wear Savar Rudraksha ?

Savar Rudraksha must be worn after Siddhi (method of purification & charging with Mantra). Before sending the bead to you, we always perform Siddhi free of cost. It should be worn on Monday. Wash it with milk.
The mantra to wear this bead is “OM NAMAH SHIVAYA”.

Why Rudrakshas are oiled?

Rudrakshas are oiled to strengthen them and to save them from insects. Oiling doesn’t change a low quality bead into fine quality. Oiling is done only to improve the skin and strength of the bead. ALWAYS keep the bead oiled. After regular cleaning, oil it and treat it with incense. This is of UTMOST importance, especially when not using the bead for sometime, or storing it for a while.

How to check quality of Rudrakshas?

Many get confused with the shape and size. One should not seriously worry about it. Just see that the Mukhs are well defined and corns & contours are natural.
